If you're struggling with insurmountable debt, you might be wondering - should I file for bankruptcy? Bankruptcy is a legal process, handled by the federal courts, where debts can be eliminated, or re(...)
Former Tuskegee Mayor and Alabama State Legislator Johnny Ford sponsored Bingo Gaming legislation in the Alabama House of Representatives that established a monopoly for the VictoryLand Park in Macon County, Alabama. Rep. Ford's Bill ignored the needs of the entire Macon County citizenry, except the Sheriff Department and the Charities that support VictoryLand's gaming in a state where gambling is illegal. For years the estimated 52 Charities received $15050 per year. Recently that crummy handout was raised to $25000. Even education was denied in Rep. Ford's Bingo Bill. The total allocations to public schools are meted out as if the each school and the Board of Education are Charities. Rep. Ford structured the Bill to place all regulatory, assignment, oversight and enforcement authority with Sheriff David Warren, who appears to be VictoryLand's man. Fred Gray, Sr., reportedly served as attorney for Milton McGregor's VictoryLand, while his son, Fred Grey, Jr., served as attorney for Sheriff Warren as the regulations for Bingo licensing were developed to apparently ensure a monopoly for Milton McGregor. An estimated $400 Million were made by VictoryLand in 2006, and only crumbs went to Charities and other community entities. All Towns and Cities, as well as public school are on what equals life support, while VictoryLand and its user friendly Negroes are wallowing in cash.
"He affects play on both ends of the court," Bartow coach Terrence McGriff said ... He does have a couple of Division II schools (Tuskegee in Alabama and Clayton State in Georgia) interested, as well as several NAIA and junior colleges.
