Q: I would like to clarify the requirements for changing from state court, civil unlimited to federal court civil unlimited. My spouse and I are searching for counsel with little success due retainer amounts required, and not sensible with what we have been through, and simply needing limited representation to present the facts and evidence. We have been provided the concern that with all that has been discovered and still occurring for years under our nose, Federal Court may be more appropriate now; ironically we had requested dismissal without prejudice last year to present in state court.
