DEADLY ARTIFACT: DARK HISTORY 101 On Saturday, July 06, 1974, three high school teenagers almost perish in a mining tunnel collapse. Only their quick thinking and calm action save them from being entombed under miles of rock. However, before emerging safely into the open, they make a gruesome discovery: three skeletal corpses. Although highly disturbed by this horrific discovery, one of the teenagers discovers something even more disturbing. One of the three skeletal corpses is the remains of an extraterrestrial being. Back at home, Vernon Clark; 17, Ronald Clark; 16 and Victor Williams; 17, all of Northern California, begin an investigation into the situation surrounding the death of these three individuals. Their investigation reveals a series of frightening historical events; events whose roots can be traced all the way back to a specific event that occurred prior to the beginning of the American Civil War. Anthony David Weiss, an archaeologist, learns of the teenagers' discovery. Weiss becomes keenly interested in something else that the teenagers found in that tunnel: two alien devices. One of these devices proves to be inconceivably more powerful than any weapon-conventional or nuclear-known to earth science. Weiss is determined to obtain these devices-regardless of the means.
