HARTFORD, Conn. - Former Mexico President Ernesto Zedillo claims in court documents filed Friday that his status as a former national leader gives him immunity from a lawsuit filed in Connecticut over the 1997 killings of 45 people in a Mexican village.

pp53283@g.mail.com : Very interesting that ex presidents of the Mexico, are being suited; first former Presidnet of Mexico Luis Echeverría before the ICP, then Calderón was recently accussed; and now Zedillo. Even if the case is not won before the american justice system, it will be precedent; it means that presidents of Mexico and Latin America, may be very careful when they rule their countries. They will rule without power. It may be an indication, that the US government uses these people, and when they are of no more use, it destroys them. But, dont't go to fast, better let's wait and see. Probably it is only a mediatic war of the political parties in Mexico, we'll have elections on July 1 2012.
