A Georgia judge has denied a motion by President Barack Obama that sought to dismiss a complaint that would keep his name off the state's ballot during the March presidential primary.
eraudog : this is what I just sent to snopes on their inaccurate article on Obama.....
Your article named "The Occidental Tourist" updated 17 September, 2009 is inaccurate/incomplete and misleading.
US Constitution Article 2, Section 1, paragraph 5 clearly states and I quote...
"No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."
Since Barack Hussien Obama Sr. was in fact a citizen of the UK at the time of his sons birth, the UK claims citizenship of the child as written under the laws of the UK.
Since Sr. could not aquire citizenship in the US (under guidelines of the laws of Kenya stating they do not allow duel citizenship and the UK claims jurisdiction of the child born to a male citizen of the UK) the fact is clear that Barack Hussien Obama Jr. could not aquire US citizenship until he himself as an adult applied for such citizenship.
Hence the facts are that there are no collaborating facts to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that Barack Hussien Obama Jr. did himself file for US citizenship as an adult, then his eligibility for office of the president of the United States of America is not fact.
