Judge: Fred Avera
Jail / Facility: Polk County Coyrthouse Location: Dallas Oregon Report Abuse
you and your wife do you remember us? do you ever think 'i wonder what happened to that miner kid i sentenced to 70 months based on MY WIFES recomendation'? heres what happened. his fiancee was raped in may 2010 and gave birth to a boy he claims. she moved to ontario to be near him and now has no family to help with her 2 young children. his brother, who, by the way, you witnessed having a seizure, had a massive seizure and died, at home, by himself. that kid you sent to prison was his caregiver. i thought it was conflict of interest that you, judge avera, would sit on a case that your wife, sally avera, was prosecuting. but even mr. miners public defender, who was supposed to be working on his behalf, wouldnt listen. the only silver lining is you have retired and can not needlessly tear more families apart, with your wife, as you did this one. go to hell.
