Music performed the PHHS Pendletones Pendleton, Indiana (November 13, 2010) -- It comes but one time a year. It's a celebration that, year in and year out, is bigger and brighter than the year before. This year's Christmas in Pendleton was in a word, amazing, from the start at 9 am when the Snow Queen and Court crowning for 2010 at the Town Hall to the singing of Christmas Carols by our own Pendleton Heights High School Pendletones and then the official lighting of the Pendleton, Indiana Christmas Tree at the Post Office under the direction of Ol' Saint Nick himself. Christmas In Pendleton, which is sponsored by the Pendleton Business Association, would not be what it is each year without the masterful leadership of one very amazing lady, Bonnie Clark. Each year Bonnie brings to Pendleton, not an event, but the true essence of Christmas in the spirit of family, fellowship, and delight for all ages. We remember a lot of things through the years and there is little doubt that the kids of today will be telling their children about the times, in November, they spent in Pendleton, Indiana tossing snow balls across State Street or playing in the magical snow that always appears on the day Christmas In Pendleton is celebrated. Christmas In Pendleton, 2010, has to be the grandest to date. And if history repeats itself, the 2011 Christmas In Pendleton is a date we need to mark our calendars for now.
