16, Dec 2014 - Yellowstone, MT Montana prisoner dies days before release date
HELENA, Mont. (AP) - A 72-year-old Montana State Prison inmate has died five days before he was eligible for release. The state Department of Corrections says William Bernard Bergin died Tuesday of natural causes. His death wasn't announced until Thursday because officials were trying to notify his family. The department says Bergin would have been eligible for discharge on Sunday.
