The lowest level of New Hampshire's State Court system includes its District Courts, which hear tort, contract, real property, small claims, juvenile, traffic, and other types of civil cases, as well as New Hampshire's Probate and Family Division Courts. New Hampshire's Probate Court handles probate/estate issues, as well as real property, adoption, and mental health cases. New Hampshire's Family Division Court has jurisdiction over cases relating to guardianships, domestic relations, and juvenile matters.
