Summit County unemployment is down, although the county saw few new jobs. Kids at STEM Middle School got to crash cars this week. Repairs have begun on Macedonia's Ledge Road railroad bridge. Dave Lombardi, Akron school board member, chosen by Kasich to take municipal court judgeship. Summit County ranks middle of Ohio in annual health rankings.

GREATER AKRON — Three men were arrested last week and booked into the Summit County Jail for crimes involving child pornography, court records show. The arrests were the result of investigations by members of the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Summit County Prosecuting Attorney Sherri Bevan Walsh announced Friday the Ohio Adult Parole Board denied the parole of Victor Logan. Logan was sentenced in 1986 to 30-75 years for the murder of Susan Soldierson, a 22-year-old University of Akron student.
