Eddie Sutton Show (1999-2000) Ep 10: Big Monday Blowout!
Coach Sutton said the 2000 Cowboys could be a great team if they could put two halves together, and they did just that in early February. After the win at Texas Tech, Oklahoma State returned to Gallagher-Iba Arena and posted back-to-back 30+ point victories. The Pokes avenged their surprising loss at Texas A&M by defeating the Aggies 87-55. Desmond Mason and Glendon Alexander each scored over 20 points in the OSU win. Next up was a showdown with Kansas on ESPN's Big Monday, where the Pokes put together probably their best effort at that point of the season. The Cowboys posted an 86-53 blowout, and Desmond Mason scored 31 points against the Jayhawks. Kansas was limited to just 34% shooting in what was the third-worst defeat handed to KU at the time. Off The Court: Highlights from the Big Monday win over Kansas.
