The Tea Partiers are back in a Freedom March to the Salem Oregon Capitol Steps July 4TH. 2:30 PM 4:30 PM Celebrating Freedom, the marchers will travel down Court Street at 2:30PM from the Court Street gate of the RIVER FRONT PARK on Front Street and proceed down Court Street to the Capitol steps where a Freedom rally will shake the capitol steps. Marchers will meet and hear Thomas Jefferson as he read his new DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE. Then, have an opportunity to join in singing Patriotic songs, to sign THE WE WANT OUR COUNTRY BACK document, hear Freedom Speeches, and donate to the Wounded Warrior Project. MARCHERS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BRING AMERICAN FLAGS AND WEAR PERIOD COSTUMES WHICH CAN INCLUDE UNLOADED MUSKETS! Celebrating The Constitution At the end of the rally the rally, march back to the Riverfront Park for a day of Celebrating the 4TH of July Salem Oregon Style where a carnival is in progress with food, various booths and live music.
