Friends and colleagues, Daniel Villegas arrived to the El Paso County Annex Jail on Thursday March 10th for his April 25th- 27th court hearing. After spending the last 17 years in some of Texas' worst prisons, he describes the Annex Jail like spending time at a country club. On his trip from Abilene prison to El Paso, the transport driver bought Daniel a Wendy's hamburger, fries, and a coke. Daniel said it was the best meal he had in 17 years (the things we take for granted). Daniel was put in cell # 0316 with a group of Christian inmates (what a Godly coincidence). They pray and read the bible and I have never seen Daniel happier.
