Miller on Sports interview with Head Coach of the ABA Jacksonville Giants Kevin Waters. In Season One, Coach Waters took the Giants to the national championship in Texas, where they placed 3rd in the nation. The team was undefeated at home in the regular season. In this interview, Coach Waters describes what to expect in Season Two, which will be bigger and better in terms of both talent and entertainment. The games will be played both at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena and UNF, and the first game is December 3rd, in which Christian Laettner (Duke standout) as well as Josue Soto Martinez (former FSU and FIU basketball player) will start. Soto played in Jacksonville for Arlington Country Day School. Also, look for several of the players from Season One to return, including, but not limited to, Nick Wallery, Antonio Lawrence, Renaldo Norman, Matt Fields, Ed Horton, and Jermaine Bell.
